Smashwords Experiment: Review of "The Sultan's Tale"

Image
"The Sultan's Tale" a short story by Manuela Cardiga free offering on Smashwords Genre classification: Erotica, Historical Fiction Hello Awesome Visitors! A while back, I spoke on embarking on a Smashwords experiment, with the purpose of answering a question posed by a fellow author. If you need a refresher of the post, click here . This is book three of the experiment. Upon reading this book, it made me feel as if I were in the middle of the action, so I thought that perhaps this was part of a saga. However, I saw nothing in the blurb that stated it wasn't a standalone work.  In the copy of the work I downloaded, there were a few errors here and there but nothing off-putting. I do enjoy the camaraderie of the characters as well as how helpful Daiyuu'...

Catching up on shows I miss during the week ๐Ÿ‘€ Trying to decide on my next nail color Which wine I'm in the mood to drink๐Ÿท To glam, or not to glam ๐Ÿ’„ What brought me out of my routine was a question given to me by one of my writer friends:  How has transcendence in your writing career helped or hindered you? thinking thinking thinking Even after the person and I continued with other topics, the question still lingered. This brought forth another question: Am I actually transcendent in the genre I'm most known for, which is erotica? In order to do that, I must get back out there to read the erotica trends which are trending. Since some places are strict about showcasing any erotic works, I sought out a site that I knew would have the material. I settled on Smashwords because they have some selections that won't hurt the pocketbook. Here are the guidelines I...
