Earth 8-8-2 The Blog Tour: Day Four

Image
Hello Awesome Visitors! We're cruising along in the world of Earth 8-8-2. It is Day 4 and Author Y. Correa is still here to spill some tea on Nature vs. Nurture. Nature VS Nurture And Revised Cover Reveal It’s the age-old psychological question …  What makes a person evil, is it nature or nurture? For many years psychologists, psychiatrists, scientists of all kinds and the like have been trying to answer this question without a definitive consensus. Some say it’s nature, others argue that it’s nurture. Then there are those who blur the lines and say that perhaps it’s both. So, is the answer black, white or grey? Genesis, the main character of the Earth 8-8-2 saga also blurs the lines. You see, due to her makeup, it’s nearly impossible to know if she was created that way, or if her upbringing turned the tide. In my eyes, this debate boils down to science versus tenet. Let’s take a look-see and see what you think. First, The Facts ...

Origins and Cover Reveal (From Whence Jasmine Blooms)

Image
Hello Awesome Visitors! Let's Talk! I am happy to feature fellow All Authors Publishing House writer C. Desert Rose on her cover reveal for "From Whence Jasmine Blooms". Today, she speaks on how this latest work all came about. One day I woke up with an image stuck in my head—I couldn’t shake it. The picture was vivid and it felt profound to me, as if it were tied to something that was on the cusp of being realized. Some may call it a vision or revelation. Honestly, I’d be pushing the envelope too far if I said that it was divinely inspired, for I can’t say that with certainty. But one thing I can say with absoluteness is that I saw this depiction in my mind’s eye as clear as day. That day I met with my publisher and her representatives and talked a little bit about this image I’d had stuck in my psyche. Immediately the graphic designer put pen to paper and perfectly duplicated the picture I’d seen. It was a flower laying atop a dark sur...

Ask The Cover (Amoresels Blog Tour)

Image
The first “Ask the Cover” segment was initiated during the Pleasure Prints blog tour. I thought it was so snazzy that I decided to adapt it for Amoresels . Interviewers, have at it! The lips look very real. Do they belong to the author? Hmmm … that is a very interesting question indeed. I would like to believe so, but I don’t have eyes, so I can’t say for sure. However, imagining that a random picture of lips was used on the cover is just as weird a concept. To make me feel at ease, I’m going to go with yes. I’d hate to be accused of theft. Why are the cherries on the cover? That’s my question too! I honestly think cherries are overrated. Sure, one can stick the tip of the tongue between the stem and the whole balancing act crap is sexy. However, other fruits can be sexy, like strawberries, watermelon, red grapes … just saying. Maybe the author likes cherries or feels the target audience likes cherries. For the record, I don’t. Would you have picked this...

Image
Hello and welcome! Today, the All Authors Publishing House family is offering up a big treat. Please sit back, relax and enjoy this unique Cover Reveal for the upcoming anthology collection called, " Pleasure Prints: Divergent Ink Book 2 ". Before giving you a glimpse at the cover, we here at All Authors decided to interview the cover. No one knows the cover concept than the cover itself. Without further ado ... We present you with the first ever "All Authors Ask the Cover Interview". 1) Why the rainbow colors as part of the design? I do worry about the rainbow colors for two reasons. First one is because those kind of colors are your signature Lady Desire and I would hate to look like I am a copycat. Second is because some people may mistake me as an erotica or LGBTQIA classification instead of a short story anthology. Other than that it's fine. 2) How do you feel about your backdrop always being black? It is my f...

Let's Talk Thursdays: Episode 12

Image
Hello Awesome Visitors!  Let's talk for a minute.  I know it's been a while since I've been around but more on that in another episode.   Today I am playing hostess of sorts to up and coming author Aray Brown.  She is doing a cover reveal for her novella Next of Kin: Blood is Thicker Than Wate r.  Sorry to disappoint those who expected to finally find out what I looked like...lol. Before we see the cover, let's find out more about this talent! Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Aray Brown emerged as a bright eyed scribe at an early age, which began her journey to self discovery.  Her short stories consisted of characters such as She-ra and He-man. Later on she decided to delve into something more real and personal.  She always had a passion for storytelling even though she couldn’t express it verbally. After dabbling in other areas, she found her true calling and vowed to share her gift with the rest of the world...
