Let's Talk Thursdays: Application for Companionship

Image
Hello Awesome Visitors! It's time for another episode of ... Today I decided that I'm going to have a bit of fun, since the last LTT seemed a bit heavy. Even I have to let off some steam every now and again. So ... I was looking at this film on Netflix called Juanita. It was about this lady who felt stagnant in her life, so she decided to travel west. Originally she had settled on Butte, Montana, but due to meeting a truck driver along the way, Juanita changed her mind and rode with the truck driver to this town called Paper Moon. While in Paper Moon, she meets this Native American man; through their interactions, they change each others' lives. I found it very funny as well as touching. While watching this, I thought about my adventures of love ... well, okay, in hindsight mainly, lust ... and loss. I have been single for quite some years, which has given me some time to think about what I really desire. Jokingly, one of my sistren in write told me I shoul

Let's Talk Thursdays: Interlude of Thoughts

Hello Awesome Visitors! It's time for another ... I recently thought about the 1st story I ever wrote, entitled " Kona ". Simply put, it's about erotic thoughts inspired by something simple as a cup of coffee. There may be many who cannot relate to this because it doesn't involve bodies engaged in some form of sweaty romp. In my world, erotica is everywhere and can stem from anything. I do it as well, as demonstrated in my collection of erotic flash fiction Amoresels , but it had become more challenging, since I've branched out into more elaborate writin

Let's Talk Thursdays: About This Backwards Evolving Business ...

Hello Awesome Visitors! Welcome again to ... Today's topic is:  Is there such a thing as evolving backward? I do not believe there is such a thing, in reference to the physical structure of a person. It would be quite strange if all of us were cases of Benjamin Button.  To summarize this reference, it's the story of a man who as time passes gets younger instead of older. It is one of the better movies by Brad Pitt, so if you want to see an oldie but a goodie, I would highly recommend this one. I do think that the concept of evolving in reverse, under the guise of regressed behaviors, is very possible. I'd like to present examples of this in a couple of my works, if I may. Even if you didn't give permission, I was going to do so anyhow ... lol. One which sticks out in my mind is Alan, Fay, and Demona . Alan is caught in a situation where a choice he's made is against what his family wanted, particularly his mother. When put
