I Never Tire of Myself (3 Works I Totally Adore)

Hello Awesome Readers! Let’s Talk!

Today I want to do a bit of “tooting” of my own horn. I want to share with you the top three works of mine that I never tire of reading along with the why.

First off is my anthology H.E.R. (Handy: Extended Release) and my favorite work is the main story, “Handy”. I believe that Darbi is a wonderful representation of the modern woman’s dating struggles. It is excitement, anxiety, anticipation, and disappointment—all of the waves that are often associated with the experience. There are also some comedic bits that make me smile as well, particularly the meeting of her co-workers in the Soothe café.

Second was my contribution to Crackles of the Heart, Book One of Divergent Ink short story anthology series, “Seven Days of Stimuli”. It possesses a small town flair with characters one loves to characters one loves to hate. The very best part, through all the hits and misses, is the ending. I am a sucker for a heartwarming ending.

Last, but certainly, not least, there’s Alan, Fay, and Demona. Alan, Fay, and Demona is part of the Preludes of Prism collection, which is a part of the Convoluted Prism galaxy. It is a break from the lighthearted swish I typically bring to my stories. It’s a jambalaya of passion and drama—like a modern day slightly urban Dynasty.

Funny enough, I don’t even watch shows like that.

All of the characters are doing exactly as they should, but I can’t say I have much love for the main players in regards to what they do. In any event, they are relatable—somebody knows of someone else who put themselves in the type of sticky situations described in this story.

Until next time,
