Monday Madness from special guest Queen of Spades (Did she say FREE?)

Facebook | Twitter

Hello everyone!

Queen of Spades is back in the building.  I thought I heard her mention something that had the word "FREE" in it but it could be time for me to get my hearing checked....

No, Desire! You're absolutely right. Today, May 5th, my latest work Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes is FREE on Kindle.

My grandfather believed strongly in the spirit of giving.  On May 5th, my grandfather lost his battle with cancer. I wanted to come up with a different way to pay homage to him on the third anniversary of his passing. He always was supportive of my writing so it only seemed fitting.

That is beautifully touching.  Thank you so much for stopping by! All the information about this work is below:

Blurb: In Life, one is expected to put her best face forward, but what if the process of revealing her best face involves putting the demons on display? Would the journey continue? Or would one stop dead in her tracks.

Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes is the response in its rawest form. It is an inside look at: in its simplest form, Life's growing pains; in its most complex form, a person battling internal and external forces to find peace in her own existence. The lines are blurred between what's real and what is embellishment in this second edition, a sleeker remastered collection that doesn't miss a step in intensity.

FREE TODAY MONDAY MAY 5TH ON KINDLE.

Also check out Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes on Facebook.

Hold on...there's more.  Another Freebie? Get out!

Although Private Pain: Amidst These Ashes is for one day only, another collection that I was featured in--Words of Fire and Ice-- is still FREE on Smashwords until May 6th. Just enter KC89W upon checkout! Don't miss out on the #1 Best Seller on Smashwords in Poetry Anthologies!

Blurb: Lose yourself in the full range of human emotions. Happy, sad, up, down: you will soar through the sky and plummet into the deepest despair, all through the words of fire and ice contained in these pages. As you read, you will become wrapped in the magic that is poetry. Breathe in the words, and share the raw emotion captured on paper, written in blood, sweat, and tears.

Poets featured in this collection include Patricia Frolander, Myra Biernat Wells, Robin A. Sams, Pamela Merriott, Carl “Papa” Palmer, Nicola J. McDonagh, Sherri Wright, Patricia D’Innocenzo, Judith G. Osborne, Rosemarie Czarnoska, Ryan Abram, Chantal Bellehumeur, Diane L. Lewis, Muesser Yeniay, Mellissa Black, Geoffrey A. Landis, Joan M. Roberts, Julie Lovett, Natasha Turner, Queen of Spades, Patrick Durham, and April J. Durham.

Man, Queen this is marvelous! Come on back any time.

Much appreciated, Desire.

Until next time everyone! I'm about to get my free copies.

Toodles!
