I don't know about you but I'm still reeling from that awesome Cover Reveal of Amoresels and the wonderfully done book trailer.



The other day I spoke on "Why Flash Fiction." Today I stopped over at fellow author C. Desert Rose's spot to speak about how Amoresels came to be. I will post tidbits of what I said here but for the complete blow by blow, visit her website:

I must confess something to all: Most of my ideas for projects come from unusual places and can bounce in and out of my brain within seconds.

Amoresels was one of those.

However, I thought I could shove Amoresels to the side. Surely, it could wait until I finished all the rest of my pending projects.

I don’t know how it is for my fellow writers, but even if I have a deadline set for certain things, characters and events have minds of their own.

That is when the concept for Amoresels took center stage. It seduced me, with its whole “get to me when those others are quiet” mode, along with “I don’t use a lot of words. You can do 1500 words in your sleep.”

Amoresels is the work which happened in between all of the other shenanigans in my think space.

Let's Talk Thursday: Episode 7

Hello Awesome Visitors! Let's talk for a minute. Disclaimer:  Before we go on, I want to let you know on these topics, I'm no expert. I am just speaking on my own experiences or those by others. Let's get to it. Confession:  I absolutely hate Marketing.  I'm not saying that I don't like to meet new people and interact with them.   I'm becoming a wee bit frustrated because what I put out isn't being returned to me. I currently have my regular Facebook page completely public.  As long as someone doesn't cause a ruckus, I have no problem accepting anyone's friend request. When people send me requests to like their pages, I stop by and give it a like.  I have not discriminated on my liking practices either. I figure it in this way:  I'll have it set up this way until I'm given a reason not to.
