Let's Talk Thursday: Episode 13

Hello Awesome Visitors! Let's talk for a minute.

I know you have wondered, "Where in the name of cookies and milk have I been hiding?"  Or maybe not.  Whatever the case, I'm about to tell you anyway.

Look at my card, first of all.  It's a delectable bit of hotness.  It's one of the cool graphics that will be used in an upcoming short story collection I'm a part of, entitled Continuous Drips.

Although I'm chomping at the bit to show you the cover, everything has its time.  A work of this magnitude deserves a grand opening so I won't dare steal the show.  However, I will talk about the three short stories I have in there, along with a little taste of what they are about.  If you are really good, then in the coming weeks, I may show an excerpt of two.

Derailed Endurance (staccato version) play with the question "Is there truly a time frame on young love?".  The main character Korey has decided to take his relationship with Cadence to the next level.  Will she be receptive to it or is Korey really moving too fast?  The narrative focuses on the progression of Korey and Cadence through a series of timed snapshots.  Why is it deemed the "staccato version"?  You'll just have to read it and find out.

There are moments when mini stories call to be written.  This call was answered in Final Prep to Happiness.  After a bit of therapy and daring to be brave, Linda embarks on the dating scene and all is going to plan.  When an unexpected monkey wrench comes into play, Linda is left to wonder will the preparations occur in time.

The heat is cranked up to inferno temperatures in FAN-tasy Island.  No, it isn't Delectable Things, part two but the sensual vigor is similar.  Jordan is enraptured by the quirky performer Illustria but she only has eyes for the tall patron Lukas.  The catch: Lukas is married.  But is he the only one keeping secrets?  The reader is left to be the judge in this maze of suggestion and secrets.

Stay tuned.  There's so much more in store!

Until next time,

Desire
